Question by Patrick Lubbers · Sep 02, 2015 at 12:51 PM · zero clientspcoip technical support service

When using a Tera2 Zero client, the webcam works, when starting a Skype for business 2013 video session, the webcam disconnects/fails. All other clients work without a problem. Does anyone have an idea?

We are using several Tera2 devices and are implementing Skype for Business 2013. When we test the webcams there is no problem, however when we start a video conferencing session an error is stated that "video cannot be started". Can anyone be of help?

@Patrick Lubbers

Isochronous video devices can operate in USB1.1 mode only when connected to zero clients, What are the requirements for USB 2.0 (EHCI) support on PCoIP Zero Clients? (15134-834)

Seems that Skype for Business 2013 has specific webcam requirements. Here is link for v2015, couldn't find for v2013, Skype for Business client video requirements

Thanks,

Slaven

We have a number of Tera2 devices (P25 and P45) clients from dell/wyse we are using VIDYO not skype but you may have a similar issue we did with video not working well.

We had all sorts of video issues until we implemented 3d video acceleration in our guests now they can support some of the directx calls needed for video overlays. I have 2 different host pools each with K2 cards from nvidia, one host pool is using the shared vga mode and the others are using a vgpu mode (2 different drivers from nvida mutually exclusive). both work well. but with software only or turned off I had various issues.

I also updated my client pool to the latest firmware and software for the various parts needed.

Best of Luck

Is Device and Ambient Temperature really measured in Celsius. The reporting temperatures would make sense for Farenheit, but with it in Celsius, that's way above Operating Temperature by the vendor. 2 Answers
