Cloud Access Software 2019.11 is now available

We’re excited to announce that Cloud Access Software 2019.11 is now available for download.

Those with a subscription to Cloud Access or Cloud Access Plus can download this version which introduces the following new features for PCoIP Agents and PCoIP Software Clients:

  • PCoIP Ultra enhancements
    • Improved performance on lossy networks when GPU acceleration enabled (NVENC)
    • Added support for H264 4:2:0 mode when GPU acceleration enabled (NVENC) for better performance under bandwidth constrained environments
    • Support for NVENC with macOS clients
  • Added support for AWS G4 instance (with NVIDIA T4 GPU)
    • G4 instances must have NVIDIA GRID licenses to enable more than one display.
  • Added support for Graphics Agent on a non virtualized (physical) Linux workstation
  • Extended support for local termination of Wacom tablets with PCoIP Zero Clients (with Firmware 6.5 and above)
    • Added the following tablets
      • Wacom Cintiq 22HD Pen
      • Wacom Cintiq 22HDT Pen and Touch
      • Wacom Cintiq 24 Pro Pen only
      • Wacom Cintiq 24 Pro Pen and Touch
    • See Windows and Linux Admin Guides with more details on supported tablets
  • Disable the locally-rendered cursor
    • This prevents double cursors in applications that render their own cursor.
  • Flash drive support with PCoIP Software Clients for Linux (USB 2.0 protocol)
  • Auto-forward USB devices with PCoIP Software Clients
    • Automatically redirect USB devices to the remote desktop on connection. Either all devices can be forwarded or a set of devices specified by VID/PID.
  • Relative mouse support with Teradici Software Client for Windows – to Windows host (disabled by default)
    • Relative mouse support enables relative rather then absolute coordinates, often required for example in CAD design or gaming.
  • Improved audio input bandwidth
    • Added compression algorithm that provides high quality audio even with limited bandwidth
  • This release removes support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Updated support information for specific versions can be found on our Product Lifecycle page.
